The absence of an on-site restaurant means you'll need to venture out for dinner, which can be inconvenient after a long day. The decor, while quaint, feels a bit dated and could use modernization, and the old floorboards creak quite loudly, which may disturb your peace at night. I found the parking situation a bit inconvenient, as it’s located a distance from the main entrance, making unloading luggage a hassle. Lastly, expect modest breakfast options that some might find overpriced considering the limited selection.

Charming escape in La Foret-Fouesnant 🦆
Absolutely beautiful spot, peaceful grounds with the lovely sound of ducks! Staff were really chommies, helping us feel at home. The bed was firm but lekker comfy, and the amenities made us feel a bit fancy like we were on a bushveld retreat!
The floor creaked baya loudly which made it a bit noisy at times.

Charming stay in a fairy tale setting
What a magical place! The manor looks like it's straight outta a storybook, and our room was so cozy with roses out the window. The owner was super friendly and shared cool stories about the place. Loved having breakfast in the lounge area, but parking was a bit tricky at times.

this place is just amazin! the manoir is so pretty n peaceful, really feels like a little slice of nature. loved chillin' in the garden with ducks around, and my room was so comfy with these luxury toiletries. the staff were super friendly and welcoming, made me feel right at home! also, that breakfast setup looked really appetizing even tho i didn't eat.
